How we do

How we promote the training of members?

We Follow Best Practices

Unite actively promotes the proper training of members through apprenticeships, up to and including postgraduate level, with a keen eye kept on future needs, so the union can maintain the skills necessary to continue and grow this area of manufacturing. Unite members within the sector receive representation on issues that affect them at work, which is designed to ensure that their pay, terms and conditions of employment are kept at the best levels possible, even against competition from low cost countries.
